David Pipes and Tubes, located in Canberra, Australia, has built a solid reputation as a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Stainless Steel 316/316L Welded Pipes. Renowned for their precision engineering, top-notch quality, and impressive durability, these pipes are crafted to deliver outstanding corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, and long-lasting reliability. Utilizing cutting-edge welding technology, they guarantee uniform wall thickness, a smooth surface finish, and exact dimensions. Perfect for critical industrial applications, David Pipes and Tubes provides a diverse selection of sizes and specifications tailored for chemical processing, petrochemical, marine, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and other corrosive environments that demand dependable and efficient piping solutions.
The Stainless Steel 316/316L Welded Pipes are composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which significantly boosts their resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The 316L variant features a lower carbon content to avoid carbide precipitation during welding. These pipes boast a tensile strength ranging from 515–690 MPa, yield strength of 205–290 MPa, and an elongation of 40–50%. Their remarkable corrosion resistance, ability to withstand high temperatures, and robust mechanical properties make them ideal for demanding industrial and marine applications. The welded construction ensures smooth surfaces, precise dimensions, and consistent wall thickness, ensuring reliable performance.
